I do some broadcasting with music and purchased the GAP Comp 54 alongside it a couple of years back to add colour. Now the shift recovery from 3-4 in the M21 is same as 1-2, 2-3, while the 3-4 shift in the M20 is a little bit larger step at .675 (m20) vs the .781 for the M21. So I've been recording vocals with an SM7B and an Apogee Duet and while I like the sound it does feel a little bit bland to me. I'm looking for something to help color the sound and I've been looking into the GAP products.
